Uses :
1.Magnesium hydroxide is an excellent flame retardant for plastic and rubber products. In terms of environmental protection, it can be used as a desulfurizer for flue gas, replacing caustic soda and lime as a neutralizing agent for acid-containing wastewater. It is also used as an oil additive for anti-corrosion and desulfurization.
2.It can also be used in the electronics industry, medicine, sugar refining, as an insulating material, and for manufacturing other magnesium salt products. This product is also used in the manufacture of magnesium salts, sugar refining, the pharmaceutical industry, daily chemicals, etc. At the same time, the water vapor it releases can also act as a smoke suppressant.
3.In the rubber and plastics industry, it is an excellent flame retardant with triple functions: flame retardancy, smoke suppression, and filling.
4.Magnesium hydroxide emulsion is used medically as an antacid and laxative.
